Buckingham county early childhood care and education Programs

Head Start by STEPS

Age: 3 to 4 years old by September 30th of enrolling year
Locations: Buckingham Preschool Center, 77 Buckingham Primary School Rd.
Transportation: Yes, busing if in school district
Cost: Free to those who are eligible and accepted
Hours: 7:30-3:30 during the school year (August-April/May)

Buckingham County Public Schools Pre-K Program

Age: 4 years old by September 30 of enrolling year
Locations: Buckingham Preschool Center, 77 Buckingham Primary School Rd.
Transportation: Yes, busing if within school district
Cost: Free for eligible applicants
Hours: 7:45 am – 3:05 pm during the school year (Aug. – May)

Transportation: Must provide own transportation
